Each month when I sit down to write this blog I start by going through my resources to see if a theme comes to me. Then I move the resources that don’t fit the theme over to the following month. After doing this for several months, I ended up with some really great resources sitting in my folder that haven’t been shared. This month’s resources consist of several themes starting with race in education. Then comes a provocative piece about white supremacy culture, that challenges the work of Tema Okum and Kenneth Jones, followed by an article entitled, “Your willingness to Overlook Racism is Racism.” I have also included clips of two videos. One is  a conversation with Isabel Wilkerson and Rabbi Angela Buchdahi about Wilkerson’s second book, “Caste: The origins of our discontents.” While listening to this conversation, I heard Wilkerson compliment Rabbi Buchdahi on one of her recent sermons about race and the Jewish community. That piqued my interest so I listened to the sermon which I found very powerful so decided to share it as well. Last but not least are links and websites with trainings, and workshops to help you on your journey of being a true co-conspirator for racial justice and equity.

See you on the journey,

Robin
